This Now & Then shows the view looking up towards Colham Bridge in both 2019 and back in 1933, photographed from the Yiewsley side of the bridge. You can see the Anchor Pub has now been replaced by a block of flats called 'Art Wood Apartments'. Colham Bridge and the road itself were widened in 1939. It's fascinating seeing the difference in the clothes of the day worn by the lady with her basket on the right hand side of the 1933 photo, as well as the old horse and cart!
