Here we see the Angler's Retreat Public House on Cricketfield Road as it was back in the 1950's compared to today. As you can see, the building is no longer a pub, having been converted into affordable housing by Shepherds Bush Housing Group. The existing single and two storey extensions and outbuildings were demolished. The original public house was retained and converted into 2 x residential units. Additionally 14 further residential units were constructed on the site along with the provision of a wild flower meadow, car parking, landscaping and amenity space.
