In this Now & Then the view is from the south west of The Green in West Drayton, looking towards the East. You can see that the long terrace of houses called 'Daisy Villas' is shown in both photos. They were built in 1896 by the renowned local builder Samual Bateman. As for changes, you will see that there's been a significant increase in the number of trees and there's also no longer a resident grazing horse! The bench remains, although not the same one! It looks like the chap in the straw boater hat is having a nice read of his newspaper in the sunshine!
