Single Branch Focus
We only have one branch. So the expertise and experience of more senior staff hasn’t been spread thinly across a network of offices. It’s all on tap for you at 40 Station Road, West Drayton! Of course, that means that you can also drop in to speak to any of us ‘face-to-face’ at any time.
Anybody can advertise a house for rent and introduce a tenant. However, negotiating the very best rent on most favourable terms is our speciality and where we excel.
The Right Tenant
We don’t select the first person that applies for your property, we endeavour to select the right tenant, the one that our instincts say will look after your property and of course, pay the rent.
Finding a tenant is only half the job. Vetting the tenant to ensure they are of good calibre and on the basis of all evidence available, can pay the rent, is paramount. Our referencing is completed by Maras who are experts in this field completing comprehensive checks on the prospective tenants.
We know the residential letting process inside out and can provide effective and sound advice to guide you through the process. The lettings sector is increasingly regulated and we are fully versed on all the latest developments to ensure we provide you with the advice to ensure you comply with your legal obligations.
We incentivise our lettings staff in a unique way - pooled sales commission. This means that our staff are incentivised to work together as a team. This is something that we passionately believe results in the absolute best outcome for you with the entire team working as one.
R Whitley & Co is a member of The Association of Residential Letting Agents, The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and The Property Ombudsman and we choose to be accountable to these professional bodies. This give you the assurance that we follow the best practices in the industry.
No Renewal Fees
Our fees to let your property are 'one-off'. This means that should you be fortunate enough that your tenant stays beyond the initial fixed term of the tenancy agreement, no additional fee will be payable to R Whitley & Co apart from our charge for the preparation of a new tenancy agreement. Full details of our charges can be found here.
Confident in our Ability to Perform
We’re so confident that we’ll perform that, unlike other agents, we don’t tie you into a lengthy sole agency contract for weeks on end. All we ask for is 14 days written notice at any time if you wish to go elsewhere. But we don’t think you’ll want to!
