We know West Drayton and Yiewsley like the back of our hand. Let us share some of our local area knowledge with you:

West Drayton and Yiewsley are located within the London Borough of Hillingdon, to the far west of Greater London and just within the M25. If you’re looking to move to or invest locally then we've put together a beginners guide to get you familiarised with what’s on offer.

Transport

One of the big advantages of living in Yiewsley and West Drayton are the excellent transport links. There are a regular network of bus routes providing access to Uxbridge, Heathrow Airport and the surrounding areas. The UK’s main international airport is located at the nearby Heathrow and access to the motorway network is exceptionally convenient via junction 4 of the M4, or Junction 1 of the M40. West Drayton’s main line railway station also provides regular services eastwards into London Paddington (London Underground Zone 6 allowing use of an Oyster Card) and westwards to Reading, Bristol and beyond. The area’s transport links are soon to be enhanced even further with the arrival of Crossrail in 2019. This will bring a proposed 6 trains per hour carrying commuters into the West End, The City, East End and beyond without any need to change train. Typical morning commute journey times will be reduced to varying degrees depending on the destination.
