We're back to The Green in West Drayton for this Now & Then, a location which at one time was home to a number of Pubs. In the old photo you can see a couple of examples including 'The Swan' to the far left of the photo (re-built in the 1960's and since replaced with flats) and the 'Kings Head' which is on the near right hand side (now residential). The Kings Head was located within the Britannia Brewery which was originally owned by James Thatcher & Co and subsequently taken over by the Isleworth Brewery Ltd. The wax manufacturers 'Wilkins Campbell Ltd' then became the owners and now it is largely office accomodation.
